Renewal starts on 1st March of every year. You will receive an email from Marsh inviting you to submit your application form online.

Once your Application Form is submitted, the Evidence of Cover will be sent to your registered email address. You can also view them under the "Insurance Documents" Tab once you log in to the Dashboard.

Policy Wording document is also available once you log in to the Dashboard.

Send us an email on lss-pi@marsh.com with the details of the error and we will be able to assist you to rectify the issue.

You have the option to purchase Top-up cover after you have completed the PII renewal.  We can issue an immediate quotation for Top-up limits of up to SG$30 million.

For higher limits, you may email us at lss-pi@marsh.com to request for a quotation.

You should be able to do the Inclusion/Exclusion of practitioners by going to the [Create Mid Term Adjustments] option available online. 

  1. Visit LSS PI Scheme Online Portal
  2. Click on "Forgot Password".
  3. Key in your registered email address and click "Reset Password".
  4. A reset email link will be sent to your email.                                       
  5. Click the link in the email to reset your password with Two-Factor Authentication.

To notify a claim or a potential circumstance, please write to us at lss_claims@marsh.com with the following information:

  1. Who is the claimant/potential claimant?
  2. How do you know the claimant/potential claimant?
  3. When were you first aware of the potential claim?
  4. The identity of the alleged negligent lawyer.
  5. Who is the claim made against? The lawyer or law firm?
  6. What is the alleged negligence in this case.
  7. Summary/Chronology of the events that took place leading to the claim/potential claim.
  8. An estimate of the quantum of the claim/potential claim – please note that if your limit of indemnity as per the Scheme Policy is likely to be reached, it would be prudent for you to notify your Top-up Insurer via your Top-up broker (if you have one). If your Top-up Insurance was placed with Marsh, we will notify the Insurer accordingly.
  9. Any steps you have taken to mitigate the claim/potential claim.
  10. Your proposed steps moving forward.
  11. All relevant supporting documents (e.g cause papers, letter of demand or any other correspondence alleging the negligence, etc).

In the meanwhile, it is a condition of the Scheme Policy that you should not: 

  1. admit liability; 
  2. enter into any settlement; and/or 
  3. incur any costs or expenses, 

without the knowledge and consent of the Claims Panel.
